Adam Kullmann is part-time project co-director of the EU pilot project "Capacity building Roma civil society and strengthening its involvement in the monitoring of the National Roma Integration Strategies". The project aims to contribute to capacity building of NGOs and preparation of civil society monitoring reports covering 27 EU member states. It is contracted by DG Justice.
Between 2009 and 2015 he worked part-time in the Making the Most of EU Funds for Roma (MtM) program of the Open Society Foundations (OSF) on supporting the effective use of EU funds for Roma inclusion mainly in 5 EU member states: Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic. The program provided technical and financial assistance for the preparation and implementation of local projects, and it contributed to assessment of EU funded national programmes. Parallel, he also works as consultant, e.g. in evaluation of social inclusion programmes.
Between 2001 and 2009 - the years before and after Hungary's accession to the EU - he worked in the public administration on preparation for and then coordination of the implementation of a rapidly increasing amount of EU funds in Hungary.
He holds an MA in economics from Corvinus University and a PhD in social geography from Eotvos Lorand University.
