Anna – Maria Hirtenfelder has worked in international and public affairs for over a decade. Before joining CEU, she headed the advocacy department of an international NGO based in Austria for eight years. Furthermore, she worked with the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense and in private sector consulting covering Latin America & Caribbean, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Her areas of expertise are, among others, human rights, climate change and sustainable development. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Hungarian, and German.
