Kasia Krzyżanowska is an Editor of the Review of Democracy, CEU Democracy Institute live platform. She is co-responsible for the History of Ideas and Review of Books section. Apart from being an editor, she is a PhD researcher in constitutional law at the European University Institute in Florence. She holds M.A. in Law, B.A. and M.A. in Sociology from the University of Warsaw, as well as an LL.M. in Comparative, European and International Laws from the EUI. She has published in peer-reviewed Journal of the Polish Section of IVR, and in numerous Polish journals (mostly review essays). She has co-taught a course in European constitutional orders at the EUI.
She is interested in constitutional identity, European integration, and the role of the intellectuals, especially legal, in shaping the European imaginary. She co-edits a blog (run in Polish) with book reviews.
