Margaryta received her PhD in Political Science from the Central European University (CEU) in 2018. She holds MA in International Relations and European Studies from CEU as well as an MA and BA in Regional and International Studies from Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University, Ukraine. Her research interests are regional security dynamics and order, regional security institutions and comparative regionalsim.

In 2015, Margaryta completed the Program for Excellence in Teaching in Higher Education at the CEU Center for Teaching and Learning. She served as Teaching Assistant at the CEU Department of International Relations and the Department of Political Science for the MA courses on the conflicts in the post-Soviet space and international relations of East Asia. In 2015, Margaryta was a teaching associate to Korea Foundation Global e-school Eurasia project at CEU that brought together 18 institutions from 16 countries in an on-line learning initiative. In 2017, Margaryta was a CEU Global Teaching Fellow in Myanmar. She worked as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Yangon teaching undergraduate students in Political Science and International Relations programs. Margaryta’s teaching interests include experiential learning, internationalization and diversity in higher education as well as technology-supported teaching and learning strategies.
