Attila Bartha is currently a Visiting Research Fellow at the Center for Policy Studies. His main research interests include public policy, governance and economic policy, policy change in Central, Eastern and Southtern Europe and the role of various policy actors. He works as a researcher at the Institute for Political Science, Center for Social Sciences, Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Between 1997 and 2011 he was a researcher in various economic policy issues (development, convergence and governance) of Central and Eastern European countries at the Kopint-Datorg and Kopint-Tárki research institutes; he published several book chapters and articles about these topics in leading Hungarian journals and reviews. Since 1998 he has been a lecturer in several social scientific subjects (sociology of economic life, social environment of business, welfare economics, ageing societies, growth and institutional convergence in Central-Eastern Europe) at the Corvinus University International Studies Center and Széchenyi István College, ELTE University Department of Sociology and Social Policy and International Business School.
