My research interest centers around labor market inequality and its determinants and consequences. I am curious about the way different characteristics, such as gender, class, race, and parental status shape employment opportunities.

My undergraduate thesis at the University of Nottingham analyzed the gendered nature of the South Korean developmental state and compared how women's employment patterns changed in the postindustrial era. At the postgraduate level at CEU, I examined the causes of women's overrepresentation in the Hungarian workfare scheme with the use of qualitative methods.

I was involved in a research project that examined the accumulated disadvantages Romani women face in various areas of life in selected EU countries. Currently, I am working on a project that maps the changes in knowledge production and analyzes how knowledge producers contribute to democratic processes in Poland and in Hungary.
