Robert Sata joined the Department of Political Science in 2006 as PhD Coordinator and he worked as Senior Academic Coordinator till 2014. Currently he is a Special Projects Officer and he teaches courses for the two MA programs in Political Science. He has supervised theses on ethnic relations, gender issues, intra-state conflict and the Roma in Europe.

Robert Sata is a graduate of the Political Science department where he has completed his doctoral degree in 2006. Robert also holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication and a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the American University in Bulgaria. Robert earned his MA in Political Science at CEU in 1999 and received another MA in International Relations from the International University in Japan in 2002.
