Zsolt Ilija

Zsolt Ilija is Head of Event and Space Management (ESM). He oversees, manages, and coordinates the team and ensures that the services offered by the unit are professionally and seamlessly delivered. These services include setups, technical and logistical details for high-profile institutional events and for rental events, and assisting departments and units with organizing events, as well as managing space booking requests for all CEU activities.

Prior to joining CEU in 2010, Zsolt had worked as a project manager at a consulting company and at a news agency, and had also taught at the Music Conservatory in Veszprem. At CEU he began in the Student Life Office as the Student Life Coordinator and then joined the Office of External Relations as events manager. He “graduated” from ERO in 2016 to head the Space Planning and Operations Team.
